Everyone wants to know the world completely. But all know (yes even the scientists) that 100% objectivity has yet to be attained. Everyone has a different opinion on things. For example, if I say, “I went to Yellowstone to see many awesome wild animals,” some people might say, “That is far too dangerous, you might get eaten by a bear!”
Many people have a different thought about what is fact and opinion, or what is need and want. And when someone is talking about something completely new, we should be impartial, so that if it is true, we might give them a chance. Just like in the old times, the 1700’s I believe, a group of people introduced the thought that we didn’t live in the center of the universe, that we were actually circling around something. Not that everything circled around us. Then, the whole country got all ruffled up and mad at the group for even suggesting such a thing. Even though what they said was 100% true. Some people just should stop getting so offended, even though that might be a good instinct sometimes.
When I went camping with the boy scouts, there always was someone saying, “No, I don’t want it this way” or, “No, don’t do it that way, I have a better way of doing it.” People just have to understand that the world does not revolve around them. Like me. There is just no way to make everyone happy, I’m afraid the only utopia we have is in Heaven.
It is very important that we don’t just laugh at someone’s discoveries, and that we do not think that the world is rooting for us alone. Although of course, it is not like the world hates us…
